Funciones y Responsabilidades
- Realizar rondas diarias para observar a los pacientes y la atención de enfermería, asegurando el cumplimiento de estándares como el afeitado adecuado y la correcta posición de los pacientes.
- Abordar cuestiones relacionadas con el personal de apoyo y tomar la iniciativa en acciones disciplinarias cuando sea necesario.
- Utilizar el equipo de protección personal según las políticas y procedimientos del departamento.
- Revisar el Plan de Atención de Enfermería, que refleje las necesidades físicas, emocionales y de rehabilitación de los residentes.
- Garantizar una atención de calidad a los residentes mediante la utilización efectiva de las habilidades del personal.
- Asistir y dirigir al personal de apoyo en la organización y finalización de las tareas necesarias para satisfacer las necesidades de los residentes.
- Integrar el Plan de Enfermería con la atención médica prescrita.
- Realizar la transcripción y ejecución adecuada de las órdenes médicas.
- Gestionar los pedidos de medicamentos a la farmacia.
- Controlar el conteo de narcóticos y medicamentos controlados, asegurando un registro adecuado.
- Proporcionar un conteo y registro precisos de jeringas.
- Solicitar suministros para la unidad de enfermería.
- Ser responsable de la documentación precisa y el mantenimiento de los registros clínicos.
- Participar en el desarrollo del personal no profesional a través de programas de orientación y capacitación.
- Evaluar los planes de atención de los residentes para asegurar que se alineen con sus necesidades y objetivos.
- Organizar horarios para permitir la supervisión y evaluación del desempeño de todo el personal de enfermería en la unidad.
- Proporcionar atención directa a los residentes cuando sea necesario.
