Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Unit Secretary to join our team at Northern Light Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our medical unit, ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate unit activities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Manage patient records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Process physician orders, transcribing and entering them into our computer system.
  • Coordinate the safe transport of patients and other items, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
  • Develop and maintain professional learning needs, staying up-to-date with the latest medical terminology and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Ability to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work alternate shift schedules, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
