Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Coordinator - Travel/Purchasing - Hourly. This role will be responsible for facilitating travel arrangements, managing procurement processes, and coordinating marketing and student engagement strategies for the Geology and Geophysics department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel Coordinator: Arrange and coordinate travel itineraries, process expense reports, and ensure compliance with University travel policies.
  • LaCarte & Procurement Coordinator: Manage LaCarte accounts, process expense reports, and requisitions, and monitor purchase orders.
  • Marketing & Student Engagement Coordinator: Develop and implement marketing strategies, create content for the department's website and social media, and coordinate events and activities.
  • Department Support: Provide administrative support, welcome visitors, and assist with office tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with business level experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Preferred qualifications include 3 years of professional level experience and proficiency in Workday, OMNI, and social media platforms.
