Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and experienced RN to provide patient care and education to residents in a Long Term Care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide patient care and education to residents in a Long Term Care setting
- Assess and analyze patient health status and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, health promotion, and the management of chronic health conditions
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Respond to emergencies and provide acute care as needed
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice
- Continuously improve nursing knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A current RN license
- Experience working in a Long Term Care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong background in nursing and patient care
