Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Shift Manager to lead our team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and coaching our team members, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting the tone for a positive and productive work environment.
  • Coach and Develop Team Members: Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to team members to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Ensure Excellent Guest Service: Foster a culture of excellent guest service, ensuring that every guest has a positive and memorable experience.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment: Ensure that the restaurant is clean, safe, and well-maintained, meeting or exceeding company standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Effectively manage inventory and supplies to minimize waste and ensure that the restaurant is always fully stocked.
  • Monitor and Control Labor Costs: Monitor and control labor costs to ensure that they are within budget and that the restaurant is operating efficiently.
  • Develop and Implement Operational Processes: Develop and implement operational processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous Management or Leadership Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the food service industry.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, guests, and vendors.
  • Ability to Lift Up to 55 Pounds: Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
