Job Summary

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to fill a locum tenens position in an Urgent Care setting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical exams and diagnose illnesses to develop effective patient care plans.
  • Prescribe medication and perform therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
  • Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention to empower patients to take control of their health.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and document care provided.
  • Provide routine follow-up care and monitoring of chronic conditions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and interpret test results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
Qualifications
  • Active and unencumbered nurse practitioner (NP) license in the state of practice.
  • National NP certification for your specialty from an accredited organization.
  • No flagged or under investigation licenses.

Working Hours

~1, 12-Hour shifts, 08:00 - 20:00

Education Requirements
