Job Summary:
Carondelet St. Marys Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Clinical Fulltime Days Float Pool to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide direct clinical patient care, assessing, planning, and implementing care to assigned patients on a per shift basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Provide direct clinical care to patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring that care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a float pool or similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills, with proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
