About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled RN Float Pool Nurse to join our team at Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital. As a Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments, including Telemetry, MedSurg/Ortho, and Neuro Telemetry, among others.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication of patient condition.
- Coordinate comprehensive patient care across disciplines, acting as a primary coordinator.
- Execute physician and nursing orders with precision and care.
- Assess patients' needs comprehensively, considering various factors beyond physiological data.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to establish and achieve goals.
- Ensure patient safety, administer medications, provide treatments, and offer patient/family education.
- Continuously evaluate patient status and the effectiveness of care, adapting the care plan as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Valid and current Arizona RN License or compact state license with the ability to become licensed in Arizona within 30 days.
- BLS (American Heart Association).
- ACLS (American Heart Association).
