**Overview of the Role:**

The Banquet Houseperson plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of events at The Vanderbilt. This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

**Key Responsibilities and Requirements:**
  • Clean function rooms prior to setup to ensure a seamless experience for guests.
  • Set equipment according to daily work sheet specifications to guarantee efficient operations.
  • Provide required amenities as dictated by resort standards to meet guest expectations.
  • Refresh meeting rooms during meal and coffee breaks to maintain a high level of service.
  • Break down meeting rooms as soon as possible after the end of the function to facilitate timely turnovers.
  • Complete special projects as directed by department management or supervisor to drive excellence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
