Mechanical Calibration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Calibration Specialist to join our team at Essco Calibration Laboratory. As a key member of our calibration team, you will be responsible for calibrating a wide range of mechanical equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision in our measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate mechanical equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
- Analyze and interpret data to complete calibration procedures
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
- Ensure technicians perform work in a safe manner, following all company safety requirements
- Properly document data and results using Essco and customer policies and procedures
Requirements:
- High School diploma (required)
- Three years experience as an on-bench technician (required)
- PMEL training or equivalent formal technical training (preferred)
- Able to apply metrology experience to a wide range of electronic instrumentation
- Familiar with the requirements of ISO 17025, ISO 9001 and ANSI/NCSL Z-540
- Computer literate and ability to use lab management software
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills
