Key Responsibilities
  • Vendor Certification and Training Management: Assist the Safety Department in tracking vendor certifications and training classes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Documentation Organization: Assist in the organizing and filing of all safety-related documentation to maintain a secure and efficient record-keeping system.
  • Safety Operations Support: Provide support to all areas of safety operations as needed, including conducting site audits and providing feedback to crew members and supervisors.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a positive safety culture by engaging employees and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
  • Job Site Safety Audits: Conduct effective job site safety audits and provide feedback to crew members and supervisors to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction safety.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 in Construction and OSHA 510 certification required.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of heavy equipment and excavation safety, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
