We are seeking a highly skilled Computational RF Engineer, Quantum Technology to join our team at HRL Laboratories LLC. As a key member of our research staff, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and validation of complex broadband assemblies, with a focus on signal integrity and electromagnetic effects used to control highly complex Quantum Systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and analyze complex broadband assemblies using scientific and modeling tools such as CAD, HSPICE, HFSS, and Q3D.
- Work closely with domain experts to perform related functional analyses, including packaging design and analysis, circuit design, thermal/mechanical analysis, and more.
- Collaborate with a team of computer science, data science, physics, and engineering experts to integrate your work and achieve shared goals.
- BS + 2 years of experience, or MS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Physics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience or familiarity with scientific and modeling tools, including CAD, HSPICE, HFSS, Q3D, SI-Wave, CST Studio, Sonnet, ADS, Sigrity, and more.
- Solid understanding of core computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and computer architectures.
Must be able to climb ladders to use elevated test equipment and work safely in a laboratory environment. Must be on-site at least 4 days a week.
Security ClearanceU.S. Citizenship is required, and must have or be willing to apply for and maintain security clearance.
CompensationThe base salary range for this full-time position is $99,705 - $124,683 + bonus + benefits.
