Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at HRL Laboratories LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing measurement techniques to characterize control system performance, including signal generation and transmission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and understand how electrical signals drive quantum operations of spin qubits.
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to understand and refine control requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and document measurement techniques to characterize control system performance.
  • Contribute to the specification and design of custom electronic equipment.
  • Become an expert at spin qubit control and advise component teams on how to balance a complex trade space.
  • Create and perform advanced measurements to fully validate control systems.
Requirements
  • BS + 2 years of experience, or MS in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, or related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering with a strong applications focus.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
