Nuclear Medicine Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals to create diagnostic images.
• Maintain and operate cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs in a patient's body.
• Position patients and select anatomic and technical factors accurately to ensure high-quality images.
• Order, prepare, administer, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department.

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
• One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program, Nuclear Medical Tech from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
