Role Overview:

The HR Information Systems Specialist plays a crucial role in the enhancement, testing, implementation, and ongoing management of the human resource information systems (HRIS). This position acts as a technical liaison and supervises user acceptance testing for system modifications, report generation, and the analysis of workflows to identify opportunities for process enhancements and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct system maintenance, including the review, testing, and implementation of Oracle Cloud HCM modules such as Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, and more.
  • Collaborate with both functional and technical teams to coordinate application upgrades and fixes.
  • Maintain HRMS system tables and document processes and outcomes.
  • Independently manage the configuration and development of Oracle Cloud HCM modules.
  • Provide production support by troubleshooting HRMS issues, unexpected results, or process discrepancies.
  • Optimize HRIS processes through the integration of software and systems to create a streamlined and automated workflow.
  • Perform audits on HR processes, documentation, and data, taking appropriate actions based on available information.
  • Stay updated on current trends in HRMS, focusing on product development, delivery, and support.
  • Recommend improvements in processes and customer service, ensuring leadership approval before implementation.
  • Conduct training sessions and develop user guidelines, ensuring new users are well-versed in system functionalities.
  • Create and maintain master structural data within the system, including organizational hierarchies and job codes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Core HR and various Oracle Cloud HCM modules.
  • 7 years of cumulative experience in Information Systems.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and Fast Formula.
  • Strong understanding of data/system design principles and quantitative/qualitative measurement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and PL/SQL is preferred.
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with project management tools.
