Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Blow Mold Operator to join our team at KIK Consumer Products, Inc. As a Blow Mold Operator, you will be responsible for the efficient operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of blow mold machines. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the production of high-quality containers and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the running and troubleshooting of blow mold machines
  • Bring machine up from a cold condition to a full production operation, ensuring the container meets quality specifications
  • Retrieve PLC programming information, evaluate, and make adjustments
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Perform daily set up and bottle size changeovers on all equipment
  • Responsible for quality checks and machine profile changes and associated documentation of those changes
  • Responsible for daily production records and quality control records for any and all lines assigned to operate
  • Coordinate process operations to ensure efficiency, including communication with production personnel
  • Must be able to keep up-to-date on process alterations and general procedures by reading logs, special procedures, and posted notices
  • Responsible for housekeeping & maintaining a clean work area
  • Follows and supports all Safety programs
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years' experience with working in a facility that runs Blow Molders
  • Previous experience with Uniloy machines a plus
  • BASIC MECHANICAL SKILLS
  • Ability to provide and use basic hand tools
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work safely
  • Must be able to work overtime per business needs
  • Must be comfortable working around strong fumes and loud machinery
  • Must pass pre-employment Drug Screen and Background check
