Job Description Summary:

A skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Surg/Critical Care professional works collaboratively with physicians in the hospital-based inpatient setting, caring for critically ill and injured patients in various units, including trauma, neonatal, inpatient cardiology, emergency room, and surgical services. This role requires high levels of independent clinical decision-making and performing very invasive procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants - American Association of Physician Assistants

Must have a Physician Assistant Certificate to Practice in Ohio and maintain this Certification from the State Medical Board of Ohio. Must have and maintain a current Certification from a national certifying body (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) and maintain this Certification . Must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) program.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is around $140,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
