At the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we are seeking a talented Critical Care Medicine Physician to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside a dynamic group of healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art medical facility.
The estimated salary for this position is $225,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled physician to serve as a fellow in the Internal Medicine Department. The ideal candidate will provide training to residents, medical students, undergraduate and graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals in the Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine specialty area.
The successful candidate will participate in quality assessment and improvement activities, ensure continuing medical education requirements are met, and conduct research projects. Additionally, they will produce abstracts and/or publications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as a fellow and provides direct patient care in the Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine area (65%).
- Provides training to residents, fellows, medical students, undergraduate and graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals in the specialty area (30%).
- Conducts research projects and produces abstracts and/or publications (5%).
Requirements:
M.D. or D.O. required (foreign equivalent acceptable). Successful completion of Internal Medicine training program. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen and background check.
M.D. or D.O. is desired.
