Job Description

This is a full-time, 100% remote opportunity for a senior-level engineer to join a community-focused financial institution, supporting critical security and DevOps needs with a specialization in HashiCorp Vault. The role operates in CST hours, seeking an individual to enhance and expand Vault's functionality, maximizing its security potential within an existing infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities
  • 60% of time spent on HashiCorp Vault expertise and implementation
  • 20% dedicated to Red Hat Linux support
  • 20% focused on Windows Server management

Daily Responsibilities
  • 70% Hands-On Vault Configuration and Management
  • 10% Advisory and Strategy Development
  • 20% Team Collaboration

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Security Engineering or DevOps, with deep expertise in HashiCorp Vault. Additionally, they should possess in-depth knowledge of secrets management, tokenization, and Format Preserving Encryption (FPE). Proficiency in working with Red Hat Linux or Windows Server environments is also required.
