Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Superintendent to oversee our construction operations. This role is crucial for ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct the activities of electricians and construction personnel on-site.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Enforce company safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Analyze blueprints and project specifications to determine material needs and project scope.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address and resolve construction-related issues.
  • Plan and coordinate work schedules and phases effectively.
  • Interpret and implement electrical codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate with utility providers for service installations and relocations.
  • Perform quality control inspections and provide constructive feedback to the team.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Superintendent or in a similar capacity within the construction sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a team effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with electrical and construction management software.
  • Possession of a Certified Electrical Supervisor license is advantageous.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
