The Electrical Superintendent position at DPR Construction is a critical leadership role responsible for providing direction to the project team to complete the project on time while maintaining a high-level quality, safety, and customer loyalty.
The Electrical Superintendent has significant impact on the success of the company and delivering on our mission. They will ensure that all work installed is completed in accordance with the standards set forth by DPR Construction - all work will be completed on budget, on time, and in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely completion and within budget.
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as mechanical and civil, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor and control project costs, including material and labor expenses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
- Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality work.
- Ensure all project documentation, including reports and records, is accurate and up-to-date.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in electrical construction, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and contractors.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement business strategies to drive project success.
