Executive Chef

Compass Group Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of our kitchen staff, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.

• Food Production and Service: Supervise and participate in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food, ensuring all food handling, sanitation, and customer service standards are met.
• Team Management: Supervise hourly kitchen associates, including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews, and recommending disciplinary action.
• Inventory Management: Track food use, waste, and consumption to requisition or purchase product, and receive and inspect product and supplies for quality and quantity.
• Sanitation and Safety: Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils, and ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, production, and merchandising requirements.
• Menu Development: Help select and develop recipes and menus to meet the needs of our customers.

• Experience: At least 2 years of cooking experience required.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership abilities, and communication skills.
