Job Title: Acute Patient Care Specialist

Join Fresenius Medical Care North America, a leading provider of renal care services, as an Acute Patient Care Specialist. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with hemodialysis treatments, including setup, operation, and maintenance of dialysis machines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient education and counseling on disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
  • Valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification as defined by CMS.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
