Job Title: Nursing Assistant - Ortho Trauma and Urology

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care? Essentia Health is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in our Ortho Trauma and Urology department.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and maintain a safe and clean environment. As a member of our team, you will work closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and mobility assistance
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including infection control and waste management
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • 6 months of nursing assistant experience or completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program
  • Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry
  • BLS certified or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date
