Estimated Salary: $83,000 - $110,000 per year

About the Job:

  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided, ensuring seamless integration of information for the healthcare team.
  • Manage complex clinical situations, anticipating potential complications for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Evaluate problems, care provided, and ensure that patient responses are reassessed to meet patient and family needs, guaranteeing overall quality of care delivered.
  • Possess and utilize proper sterile technique and isolation procedures when appropriate.
  • Assist in the administration and administer various medications under the direction of a physician.
  • Display superior interpersonal skills with patients and peers.
  • Be available for on-call status as needed, after normal operating hours.
  • Maintain current knowledge/certification/licensure.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the department and organization.
  • May be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

Requirements:

  • Technical Diploma/Certificate in Nursing or Associate's degree in nursing Required Upon Hire.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Florida Required Upon Hire.
  • BLS American Heart Association Required Upon Hire.
  • NIH Stroke Certification Required Upon Hire.
  • ACLS American Heart Association Required within one year of hire.

Minimum Work Experience: 2 Years Acute Care Nursing Experience, required.
