Job DescriptionThe Rehabilitation Specialist assesses, plans, and implements evidence-based modalities and skilled interventions to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity in patients suffering from disease or injury. Through physical and functional assessments, the level of dysfunction is identified, and a plan of care is determined and documented.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough evaluations of assigned patients according to established standards of care and practice, developing individualized treatment plans that meet their unique needs. Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication, as reflected in the clinical record. Educate patients and caregivers on optimal treatment and care strategies to empower them to participate actively in continued activities at home. Complete all necessary documentation, adhering to Physical Therapy department policies and procedures to accurately reflect care provided and outcomes achieved. Regularly monitor and evaluate patient outcomes related to assessment and care planning, staying current with best practices in Physical Therapy. Assist in other duties as assigned to support the operational needs of the department and organization.
Salary Information
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, to our highly skilled Rehabilitation Specialists. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development within our dynamic healthcare system.
