About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team as a part-time Day Cook at our Good Samaritan Society facility in Westbrook, MN.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent cooking skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and baked goods according to standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards
  • Work effectively with internal customers, requiring above-average communication and teamwork skills
  • Operate various kitchen equipment, including mixers, slicers, kettles, ovens, and dishwashers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
  • Basic math skills to accurately measure ingredients
  • Minimum six months of applicable experience in cooking or a related field
