Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Lower Bucks Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners and other medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Process and transmit images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Assist with patient preparation and positioning for imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
  • CT ARRT Certification required (effective 07/01/2015).
  • BCLS (AHA) certification required upon hire.
  • Proficient computer skills.
