Job Title: Diagnostic Radiologic Tech Supervisor - Bristol, RI
Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and some Saturday mornings.
Job Type: Full-time & Part-time
Responsibilities:
To serve as the leader of the Diagnostic Imaging department, responsible for the daily operations of the department, including establishing and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards. Manage the department personnel, maintain quality assurance, and oversee patient care.
Oversee the overall care of patients while in the Radiology department.
Develop and maintain protocol manuals for procedures performed in the section. Responsible for maintaining Federal and State regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance.
Responsible for implementation and adherence to all safety practices and policies for the section.
MQSA and ACR Accreditations, on-site inspections
Performs imaging using DR. All examinations are processed digitally.
Responsible for the quality and quantity of radiographic exams performed to ensure a high level of acceptability of radiographs while minimizing patient radiation dose.
Advises radiologists, participating providers, or referring physicians of examinations requiring their immediate attention.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging with 1-3 years of direct supervision responsibility.
Completion of a full-time training course of at least 24 months in duration (or the equivalent) in a post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program, evidenced by a certificate or an associate degree, accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
All applicants must be certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology, Radiography (ARRT) (R) (M); RI License in Radiology Technology. RT(R) (M) required
