About the Role

Zobility is seeking a highly skilled Scada Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SCADA/MES systems that drive business efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • SCADA/MES Development and Configuration: Design, develop, and configure SCADA/MES systems to meet business requirements.
  • Operator Training and Support: Provide training and support to operators to ensure they are proficient in using SCADA/MES systems.
  • System Performance Analysis and Improvement: Analyze system performance and suggest or make improvements to ensure optimal system operation.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external personnel to design, develop, and implement integration enhancements with PLCs, JDE, and other systems.
  • Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain functional specifications, test cases, and design documentation, as well as support the development of controls standards for NGDV.
  • Security and Data Integrity: Oversee the protection of SCADA/MES environment and ensure data security and integrity by establishing operational guidelines.
  • System Development and Maintenance: Develop and modify SCADA/MES systems, including tag database generation, report development, computer setup, and configuration.
Requirements
  • Development and Support Experience: 3-5 years of experience in developing and supporting SCADA/MES systems, with expertise in Ignition and Sepasoft.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Rockwell PLCs or Siemens PLCs, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols, as well as experience with Python, Java, Jython, C, C+, C++, Visual Basic, SQL, and proficient with Windows Servers.
  • Standout Qualifications: Utilizing integrations (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC APIs, Web Services) and producing/consuming data from various systems, understanding OEE concepts and applying them to an MES platform, working knowledge of Track and Trace technologies, and understanding ERP systems and production scheduling concepts.
