Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Formulation Chemist to join our team at Joulé. As a key member of our formulation development team, you will be responsible for scaling up skin care, color cosmetic, and sunscreen formulations, with a primary focus on emulsion technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scale up skin care, color cosmetic, and sunscreen formulations
  • Develop and implement new formulation techniques and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Conduct basic fundamental and qualitative studies to gather further knowledge of SESA materials
  • Fill samples with existing bulk for lab inventory and customer/sales team requests
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience working in the personal care industry, preferably with a Cosmetic Science degree
  • Strong understanding of emulsion technology and formulation development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively
  • Professional and positive attitude
