Research Scientist

At System One Holdings, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Chemist to join our team. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for formulating and developing innovative skin care, sun care, and color cosmetics products.

• Develop and formulate new products, including skin care, sun care, and color cosmetics, using SESA materials and technologies.
• Provide technical support to sales staff and customers, including attending customer visits and presentations.
• Assist in training distributors and customers on product formulation and application.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create solutions for sales and customer inquiries.
• Participate in local and international travel to customers and trade shows, as needed.
• Prepare raw material and formulation kits for sales and distributors.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive environments in silicone and other raw material technologies.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in personal care product development.
• Knowledge of color cosmetics and skin care technology.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions, analyze data, and communicate results.
• Scientific summarizing skills, including experimental results and call reports.
• Proficiency in operating instrumentation, including viscometers, pH meters, homogenizers, and microscopes.
• Ability to present in a small public presentation setting.
• Strong team player with ability to multi-task and work independently.
