Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks for stocking and loading/unloading tasks.
  • Ability to maintain a clutter-free and organized sales floor.
  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining store areas, including restrooms and stockrooms.
  • Ensure proper management of sharps, food items, cleaners, and fragile products.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks such as drywall patching and changing light bulbs.
  • Efficiently locate and move stock for storage or shipment.
  • Identify and report any damages or quality issues.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure safety and functionality.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Previous forklift certification and experience with pallet jacks are mandatory.
  • Familiarity with merchandise handling equipment such as two-wheel dollies and box cutters.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and practices.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
  • Detail-oriented with basic time management abilities.
  • Capability to explain store processes and pricing to customers.
  • Proficient in stocking and merchandising goods.
Working Environment:
  • Prolonged periods of standing or sitting during shifts.
  • Frequent operation of forklifts.
  • Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
  • Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
