Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team at First Bank McComb Mississippi. As a key member of our credit analysis team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial statements and credit reports to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and make recommendations for loan approvals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Analysis: Gather and review various types of financial statements and tax returns to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers.
  • Loan Review: Review loan packages for completeness and accuracy, and ensure that loan requests are accurate and compliant with bank policies.
  • Credit Analysis: Conduct thorough credit analysis to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and make recommendations for loan approvals.
  • Communication: Communicate with loan officers and other stakeholders to provide updates on loan reviews and credit analysis.
  • Documentation: Compile and input loan and financial data into individual loan review forms and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in relevant field).
  • Experience: One to three years of similar or related experience in financial institution credit analysis or related field.
  • Skills: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of regulatory issues, financial and credit analysis, excellent analytical ability, and ability to conduct thorough research.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to handle multiple, conflicting deadlines, interact positively with all levels of the organization, and maintain a positive attitude under extreme pressure.
