Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst

As a Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst for the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in providing commanders with accurate and timely information about the battlefield.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and interpret imagery information about enemy forces, identifying key targets and providing recommendations for tactical and operational plans.

Using sophisticated mapping tools and digital intelligence networks, you will gather and analyze data to create products that inform commander decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze images, fixed/moving targets, and geospatial data to produce intelligence
  • Identify military installations, facilities, weapon systems, and defenses
  • Conduct Battle Damage Assessment and distinguish changes to the battlefield
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
  • Interest in reading maps and charts, and ability to learn geospatial intelligence tools and techniques
Training and Development:

You will receive 10 weeks of Basic Training and 22 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, including practice in intelligence gathering and geospatial intelligence analysis.

Upon completion of your initial entry training, you may be eligible for additional college credit.
