The Hillsboro Club, a prestigious private residence club in South Florida, is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our Culinary Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes to exacting chef's specifications, setting up stations for menu preparation, and assisting the executive and sous chef with daily tasks.

Our Club operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, requiring flexibility in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
  • Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Follow executive or sous chef's instructions and maintain a positive, professional approach with coworkers and club members.
  • Clean up stations and take care of leftover food.
  • Stock inventory appropriately and ensure food is prepared to high standards.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of a two-year culinary course.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
  • Excellent understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
