Pharmacist - Clinical Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Patient Care
- Engage with patients to understand their medication needs and provide personalized advice on medication use, side effects, and interactions.
- Conduct thorough medication reviews to ensure patients are taking their medications correctly and safely.
- Operate the Pharmacy
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team
- Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in community outreach activities to promote health and wellness services.
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
- Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
