Job Summary:

We are seeking a Cafeteria Worker to join our team at Parma City School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe environment in our school cafeterias.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including cooking, serving, and cleaning up
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the cafeteria, including adhering to health and safety regulations
• Interact with students, faculty, and coworkers in a professional and respectful manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Nutrition Services Supervisor or Building Principal

Requirements:

• Knowledge of food preparation and safety procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Cafeteria experience preferred

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position with a 3.5 hour workday, 10:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a background check and provide fingerprints as required by House Bill 190.
