Job Title: Behavior Specialist

Are you passionate about working with individuals with autism and other special needs? Do you want to be part of a team that makes a difference in their lives? We are seeking a Behavior Specialist to join our team at the Center for Specialized Services.

Job Summary:

The Behavior Specialist will provide direct support to participants in our program, implementing cognitive, social, recreational, and community integration activities to achieve their goals. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism and other special needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to participants in our program
  • Implement cognitive, social, recreational, and community integration activities to achieve participant goals
  • Provide oversight and supervision to participants in accordance with Individual Supports Plans and Behavioral Support Plans
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADL), including dressing, meal prep, and hygiene
  • Collaborate with other team members to support participants
  • Accompany participants to community-based outings and volunteer sites
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other special needs highly preferred
  • Certification in CPR, first aid, and MANDT required
