About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Ventilation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to patients with ventilator-dependent conditions, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home.

Job Summary

The Ventilation Specialist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in their homes, utilizing advanced ventilation therapy techniques to optimize patient outcomes. This includes assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing effective respiratory interventions. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert respiratory care to patients with ventilator-dependent conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for enhanced patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current on best practices and advancements in respiratory care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care coordination and patient satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, preferably in a homecare setting
  • Strong clinical skills, with expertise in ventilator management and weaning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel within designated service area, as needed

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
