Vent Clinician

We are seeking a skilled Vent Clinician to join our team at AdaptHealth LLC, providing exceptional respiratory patient care and expertise in ventilator management.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified Respiratory Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes. As a Vent Clinician, you will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to promote patient independence and well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients on ventilation therapy, identifying areas of need and developing targeted interventions to address these concerns.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on ventilator management, respiratory care techniques, and disease-specific management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, including assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited respiratory program or related field.
• Valid and unrestricted RT clinical license in all states serviced by AdaptHealth LLC.
• One year of experience as a Health Care RT, HME RT, or clinical nursing with vent experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, bend, stoop, and sit for extended periods.
