Position Overview

SAIC is in search of a Ground Systems Integration Engineer to contribute to a program focused on the procurement of satellite systems along with their corresponding ground segments. The ground segment encompasses command and control (C2) software and hardware, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE), and advanced virtualized technologies.

This role is pivotal in supporting significant program acquisitions and serves as the primary liaison to the development division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience; a Master's degree with at least 12 years; or a PhD with 9 years of experience.
  • Demonstrate experience in comprehensive life cycle support within an Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition program office.
  • Showcase familiarity with the ground segment of space program offices.
  • Evaluate proposals, budgets, and master schedules effectively.
  • Engage in activities that involve the integration of hardware and software.
  • Manage request for change (RFC) processes proficiently.
  • Understand methods for requirements validation and verification.
  • Design ground architecture with a focus on functionality.
  • Plan and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
