Global SAP SD/O2C Solutions Architect
Position Overview
As a key member of the global SAP/ERP business application team, you will collaborate closely with business units and process stakeholders, providing advanced support for troubleshooting and implementing business requirements within the SAP/ERP framework. Your role will emphasize maintaining a comprehensive global perspective while balancing SAP standards with necessary business adaptations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert 3rd level support for the SAP O2C S/4 HANA module and related systems, working with process owners and regional stakeholders to identify and resolve system/process issues.
- Enhance and tailor the SAP O2C S/4 HANA module to meet client specifications, collaborating with process owners to customize solutions and develop functional specifications for programming needs.
- Design technical concepts and architectures to fulfill business requirements in partnership with the global SAP business application team.
- Document current and proposed solutions comprehensively.
- Participate in change management processes, contributing to the analysis, decision-making, and implementation of updates and change requests.
- Engage in project teams to drive initiatives forward.
- Stay informed about advancements in the assigned SAP module and related business lines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a solution architect for the SD module or Order to Cash business line, with a strong background in both customization and consulting.
- Familiarity with standard development processes and modern methodologies outside of SAP, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in a global corporate environment, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with non-native speakers.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Solution-focused mindset with the capability to see the broader picture and plan accordingly.
- Experience working in a global, distributed team environment.
- Adept at managing unexpected challenges and engaging with diverse cultures.
- Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time.
- Basic knowledge of other SAP modules is advantageous.
- Fluency in German or additional languages is a plus.
