Retail Sales Associate

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Sales and Merchandising: Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services, and make recommendations to customers to meet their needs.
• Operations: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and contribute to a positive and inclusive store culture.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes per shift.
• Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push and pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
