About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Transformation Specialist to join our team at Takeda Pharmaceutical. As a key member of our Business Excellence site/functional team, you will be responsible for building expertise in our AGILE Operating Elements (Takeda's Lean Six Sigma program) and delivering the eAGILE program at site/function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and Educate: Develop and implement a comprehensive understanding of the eAGILE program, its workstreams, and expectations across the organization.
  • Lead Identification and Creation: Identify, create, and maintain the site eAGILE roadmap, detailing opportunities for implementation in the fiscal year according to the site strategy.
  • Coaching and Implementation: Lead, coach, and help implement the eAGILE roadmap commitments, including project management, facilitation of workshops and problem-solving sessions using Lean Six Sigma principles, coaching deployments, and ensuring sustainability of deployments.
  • Change Management: Drive and champion change using Takeda's Organizational Change Management framework, including practical application as it relates to the eAGILE roadmap deployments.
  • Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and drive transformation, while collaborating with important partners and according to the site's strategy.
  • Leadership Development: Improve Takeda's Leadership Behaviors as it aligns with the eAGILE program and mindsets and behaviors needed to inspire creativity, transformation, and continuous improvement culture.
  • Capability Building: Build competencies and capabilities in influencing and coaching through collaboration with global workstreams and other coaches to apply at the site.
  • Site/Functional Workshops: Participate in site/functional workshops to identify coaching opportunities and proactive capability building at the site.
  • Industry Trends: Follow industry trends in coaching and influencing to identify new capability needs for development of self and others.
  • AGILE Champions: Maximize learning and competency building of AGILE champions through assignment of AOS deployments.
  • eAGILE Roadmap: Maintain the eAGILE and AOS (Takeda's Lean Six Sigma Program) roadmaps.
  • Data Accuracy: Ensure data accuracy and monthly updates are documented and maintained in SPOT (project reporting tool) for eAGILE roadmap projects.
  • DMAIC Ecosystem: Administer the DMAIC ecosystem at the site.
  • Goals and Schedule: Maintain goals and schedule of Lean Six Sigma deployments (e.g. CI Loop).
Requirements:
  • Education: Typically requires a bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or other related technical field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of related experience with 1+ years as a supervisor.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Project Management: Project management experience (incl. small-scale projects).
  • Change Management: Change management experience.
  • Data Analysis: Experience with application of statistical software and data analysis (e.g. Minitab, JMP, PowerBI, and Tableau).
  • Regulated Industry: Understanding of regulated biopharmaceutical or biotech operations or other regulated industry.
