Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Test Specialist to join our team at Planet Pharma. As a key member of our Reliability Test Lab, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating new and existing Electromechanical medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of medical devices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Set up and operate test equipment, including environmental chambers, life test equipment, and product-specific test equipment.
  3. Design and document testing configurations and setup, and create test reports that document test results.
  4. Collaborate with project engineers to identify and troubleshoot product issues, and suggest design improvements based on test results.
  5. Participate in product failure analysis and provide technical expertise to support problem resolution.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 6 years of testing, lab, or related experience.
  2. Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and ability to recognize mechanical, electrical, or system abnormalities.
  3. Hands-on experience with instrumentation and data acquisition.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to maintain accurate records and provide data to project engineers and managers.
  5. Background with measurement test equipment and working knowledge of pneumatics.
  6. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  7. Working knowledge of mechanical gauging and instruments, including micrometers, calipers, force gages, dial indicators, and hardness testers.
Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent, AA Degree preferred. 1-2 years of mechanical or electrical experience or engineering graduates with some intern experience.
