We are seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Test Specialist to join our team at Planet Pharma. As a key member of our Reliability Test Lab, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating new and existing Electromechanical medical devices.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of medical devices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Set up and operate test equipment, including environmental chambers, life test equipment, and product-specific test equipment.
- Design and document testing configurations and setup, and create test reports that document test results.
- Collaborate with project engineers to identify and troubleshoot product issues, and suggest design improvements based on test results.
- Participate in product failure analysis and provide technical expertise to support problem resolution.
- Minimum 6 years of testing, lab, or related experience.
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and ability to recognize mechanical, electrical, or system abnormalities.
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation and data acquisition.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to maintain accurate records and provide data to project engineers and managers.
- Background with measurement test equipment and working knowledge of pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Working knowledge of mechanical gauging and instruments, including micrometers, calipers, force gages, dial indicators, and hardness testers.
High School diploma or equivalent, AA Degree preferred. 1-2 years of mechanical or electrical experience or engineering graduates with some intern experience.
