Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent education, certifications, or experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Core Competencies:
  • Strong proficiency in JAVA and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Solid understanding of Python and Jython JavaScript frameworks.
  • Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL (not limited to Oracle).
  • Familiarity with SQL tools such as SQLDeveloper or Toad.
  • Proficient in using Eclipse IDE.
  • Experience with J2EE application server platforms (Websphere or Weblogic).
  • Knowledge of PKI concepts and certificates.
  • Understanding of web service protocols, including SOAP and REST.
  • Experience with Commercial Off-the-Shelf software (COTS).
  • Background in agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of drafting technical and functional requirements (user stories).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing GUI applications and understanding GUI principles.
  • Familiarity with logistics business processes and policies (procurement, accountable property, and inventory).
  • Experience with enterprise asset management COTS products.
  • Knowledge of Maximo or SAP is advantageous.
