Job Title: Power Shift Emergency Medical Technician

Join DocGo, a leading provider of innovative healthcare solutions, as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in our Power Shift program. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing top-tier patient care and transporting patients to medical facilities in a safe and efficient manner.

About the Role:
  • Collaborate with fellow EMTs and management to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Be flexible and adapt to changing shift schedules due to the 24-hour nature of emergency services.
  • Remain up-to-date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and certifications.
  • Conduct yourself in a courteous and professional manner when interacting with patients, coworkers, and the public.
  • Recognize and treat medical conditions with appropriate techniques and knowledge of state and county protocols.
  • Provide excellent medical transport to medical facilities by assuming responsibilities for patient care and following established policies and procedures.
  • Operate and drive ambulances safely and efficiently, adhering to safety policies and laws.
  • Maintain rig cleanliness and stock supplies as needed.
  • Gather patient billing information and submit accurate reports.
  • Respond promptly to assignments and communicate effectively with the dispatch center.
Requirements:
  • PA EMT State Certification (minimum)
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record (minimum 2 years)
  • Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 125 lbs or more
  • Meet Power Shift Program requirements
