JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Work Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in food preparation, cooking, and understanding of sanitation and safety practices preferred
• Licenses/Certifications: Food handler's certificate required; BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment
• Skills: Proficiency in cash handling, ability to work with precision and efficiency, strong teamwork and communication abilities

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As a vital member of our culinary staff, you will be tasked with the preparation and serving of meals to both our internal and external clientele. It is essential to ensure that all food is prepared, served, and stored in compliance with sanitary standards, while also maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepare specialty baked goods as required
• Adhere to standardized recipes to ensure product consistency
• Promptly report any equipment malfunctions
• Maintain sanitation protocols at all times
• Collaborate effectively with serving staff to uphold food quality
• Follow directives from the Supervisor
• Conduct daily cash drawer reconciliations
• Communicate efficiently with all stakeholders
• Clean and sanitize kitchen tools and equipment after each shift
