Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, under the direction of a qualified physician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position patients for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology
- Operate radiation producing equipment and electronic Radiology systems
- Prepare patient rooms, equipment, and medications
- Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites
Requirements:
- TS - Trade School Graduate (Required)
- ARRT Radiography(R) - Certifications - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
- RQI Basic managerial experience of coordinating the work of others
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems
